Dr. Leinad Laboratories is a secret research corporation that performs highly classified experiments for the U.S. Government, first introduced in Night Guard.
History[]
Dr. Leinad Laboratories has a unique history in its founding in that it only exists as an independent entity on paper. This research corporation, which was founded back in 2000, is not truly a separate firm, but rather an extension of the Bradford Rant Institute of Cosmic Kinesis intended to throw off both the Illuminati and Baron Typhonus. While the institute itself focuses on research and development, Dr. Leinad Laboratories takes care of the highly classified projects, such as the Rift Generator and the Digitizer. Their secret specimen vault is guarded by the fat, but intimidating, guard dog Col. Bow Wow, and two of their most prolific scientists are Dr. Wallace Bishop and Dr. Astrid Dunham. Since 2007, Dr. Leinad Laboratories has had a contract with the U.S. Government (after an incident wherein a disc from Dimension 525 was stolen by a Cuban smuggling ring and then retrieved by Com 50) and currently develops sci-fi gadgets for the CIA.
