Captain Ace Speedman is one of the protagonists in Tales of the Adventurers. He is a gruff sailor with a corny sense of humor. He first appeared in the LEGO Atlantis sets as the captain of the Deep Sea Salvage Crew.
Physical Description[]
On land, Captain Ace Speedman wears a navy officer uniform including a white shirt, blue tie, and black pants. When diving, he wears either bulky grey and yellow-green diving gear, or a sleeker black and light-blue wetsuit with scuba gear. He has dark-grey hair, prominent mutton chops, and an eye patch worn over his left eye.

A sailor at heart and one for a good joke but not tomfoolery, Captain Ace Speedman was once a member of the League of Extraordinary Treasure Hunters and is currently the go-to sailor for the LEGO City Museum's oceanographic expeditions. He has a gruff exterior, but those who are close to him know that it's all an act, such as his eye patch: while he occasionally spins long yarns on how he lost his left eye, the truth is that he never lost it and just wears an eye patch for looks.

Captain Ace Speedman first appeared in 2010 in LEGO's Atlantis product line as the captain of the Deep Sea Salvage Crew. He also appears in LEGO Atlantis: The Movie, playing the same role he plays in the sets. Although he is skeptical of Professor Samantha Rhodes's belief in Atlantis, he sticks by her side through the mission to collect the keys and open the Portal of Atlantis. His personality is largely the same as it is in Mustache Maniacs Film Co. canon.
